For students under 20, Phys Ed 10 is required for a high school diploma and focuses on physical fitness and skill improvement. Safety/first aid in relation to physical activity is also addressed. Activities are varied and may include: outdoor pursuits; aquatics; games; individual activities, i.e. fitness; types of gymnastics; dance. Participation, effort & regular submission of assignments are major factors for success in this course. There is no prerequisite for this course.

To register for this course, students MUST be currently attending Argyll. If they are not a current student, they will be withdrawn from the course by Metro.

To register for this course, students MUST be currently attending Argyll. If they are not a current student, they will be withdrawn from the course by Metro without a refund.

Due to the short timeline of Summer School, on-line courses are only recommended to students who have previous experience with online learning. Argyll Centre Summer classes are available for students who were under 20 years of age on September 1, 2019 of the current school year.

Your SchoolZone log-in credentials will remain the same for Summer School if you are currently attending an Edmonton Public School. Any communication from Metro or Argyll regarding your Summer School class may be sent to your share@epsb.ca email OR the email address you provided to Metro upon registration. Please check both regularly.

If you are not currently attending an Edmonton Public School, an email containing your log-in credentials and other information you may require, will be sent to the email address you provided at the time of registration. The email address must be one you check on a regular basis since important information will be sent within one week of the date of registration. If a Registration Team member has asked that you provide additional information in order to complete your file - your registration will NOT be considered complete until you do so. The one week wait time will begin when your registration is complete.

TOTAL COST: A $40 non-refundable program fee.

PLEASE NOTE: there are no materials to pick up for your Phys. Ed. class.

LOGIN TO ONLINE CLASSES BEGINS JULY 2, 2020.

Argyll’s hours of operation: May 1 to June 26, 2020 are: Monday 8:00am - 4:00pm; Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Wednesday & Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm; Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm. As of July 2, 2020 hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 9:00am - 2:00pm.

IMPORTANT DATES: Students must turn in at least 50% of their assignments by July 15, 2020 and all remaining assignments must be completed and turned in by July 24, 2020.

There is no on-site final exam required for this course.
