This is part of the Metro School to Work Transition Program. An interview with the work experience coordinator and placement with an employer must be completed by June 13. A student must be placed in a work station approved by Edmonton Public Schools. Throughout the program, a work experience coordinator qill monitor the student's progress. Students earn 1 credit for each 25 hours successfully completed. A minimum of 75 hours of work experience is required for this program. Work experience students must be 16 years of age of have completed Grade 10, must have a S.I.N., a letter of recommendation from school, and transportation to and from work.
