Quarterly fast track courses are TWICE AS FAST as semestered courses. Students should consider the time and space they have to dedicate to their studies before choosing to enroll in a Fast Track course.

This academic program is designed to study matter and energy and their interactions. The program emphasizes the context of science by considering the interrelationship among science, technology and society. Physics 20-30 helps students understand the physics principles behind the natural events they experience and the technology they use in their daily lives. The four topics covered are: Kinematics, Dynamics, Circular Motion, Work and Energy, Oscillatory Motion and Mechanical Waves.

Prerequisite: Science 10: 50%. (It is recommended that students taking Physics 20 have completed Math 10C.) Students without the prerequisite must withdraw from class with no refund if they are under 20 years of age as of September 1 of the current school year.
