In the English 10-2 program, students will develop a variety of reading, comprehension and writing strategies and how they will respond to texts at a variety of different levels of sophistication. This course sequence satisfies the English Language Arts requirements for a high school diploma and it will prepare students for some post-secondary programs. 

Prerequisite: Grade 9 Language Arts: 50%. Students without the prerequisite must withdraw from class with no refund if they are under 20 years of age as of September 1 of the current school year.

This class is delivered all ONLINE in a virtual classroom. Classes meet on all days and times indicated on the schedule as shown on the Class Details page in our system.

Students are expected to be engaged in learning activities for the duration of class time and to be present on all days.

For this course – students MUST have a Chromebook, laptop, or desktop computer available for their use (not a cell phone or tablet). The device used must have a webcam, a microphone, and access to the Internet.

TOTAL COST - Students under 20 years on Sep 1 of the current school year: A $60 non-refundable program fee.
