English 30-2 - FALL 2025: Quarter 2 T/T/S - Online Synchronous Class

REGISTRATION for this class begins Wednesday July 16, 2025 and will close Tuesday November 11, 2025. From Wednesday November 12, 2025 to Friday November 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM - ONLY students who are CURRENTLY ATTENDING an EDMONTON PUBLIC SCHOOL may register if there are seats available in the class by calling Metro at 780-428-1111

NOTE: Quarterly fast track courses move twice as fast as semestered courses. Students should consider the time and space they have to dedicate to their studies before choosing to enroll in a Fast Track course.

This 8 week class is delivered all ONLINE. Classes are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 1:50 pm. Students are expected to be present on all days and to participate and be engaged in learning activities for the duration of class time.

For this course – students MUST have a Chromebook, laptop, or desktop computer available for their use (not a cell phone or tablet). The device used must have a webcam, a microphone, and access to the Internet.

As this is a 30 Level course students must write a diploma exam to receive an official grade on their transcript from Alberta Education.

TOTAL COST - Students under 20 years on Sep 1 of the current school year: A $75 non-refundable program fee. Students 20 years and over on Sep 1 of current school year: $75 non-refundable program fee and $600 tuition.

All study/reading resources required for this course are in an ONLINE FORMAT and access will be supplied by your teacher. Students are expected to provide their own dictionary and/or thesaurus.

There will be NO CLASSES December 20 to January 2, 2026. There will be a class on January 3, 2026.
