Math 31 - Argyll Centre - Online Virtual Class

In Mathematics 31 students determine the limit of a function at finite or infinite values of the independent variable. They use derivative theorems to determine the derivative of a
function, either explicitly or implicitly, and use derivatives to sketch graphs of functions and solve optimization problems. They also investigate the relationship between differentiation and integration.

Co-requisite: Math 30-1: 50%. 

* Students under 20 years of age as of September 1 of the current school year who register without the co-requisite class will be withdrawn from class without notice. The $60 fee is non-refundable.

This class is delivered ONLINE in a virtual classroom. Classes meet on all days and times indicated on the Class Details above. Students are expected to be present, participate and to be engaged in learning activities for the full duration of class time.

For this course students MUST have a Chromebook, laptop, or desktop computer available for their use (not a cell phone or tablet). The device used must have a webcam, a microphone, and access to the Internet. Webcams are to be on for the full duration of the class.

A graphing calculator is required for this course. Students are expected to supply their own.

TOTAL COST - A $60 non-refundable program fee for students under 20 years on Sep 1 of the current school year.
