This course will provide students knowledge of safety skills and practices is essential for ensuring a safe workplace environment. Students will learn practical applications of safety concepts, techniques and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Students will also acquire information literacy strategies and written communication skills, as well as how the apprenticeship system operates.
Prerequisite: student must be currently enrolled in high school courses
At the end of the online portion of the class there will be full day of in person learning at NAIT on Saturday May 3, 2025.
