In this self-directed program, students will have an opportunity to view the film Spirit Bear and Children Make History, based on the book by Cindy Blackstock and Eddy Robinson, highlighting the true story of a human rights case for First Nations Children. Students will be inspired to take action for change, social justice and participate in meaningful reconciliation. Parents will be invited to an informational webinar to support their children’s learning. Families will also have two weeks of access to a private site with supplementary resources and activities. This no cost program is brought to you in partnership with the First Nations Family and Caring Society of Canada.
