Architectural Tour of Edmonton

Over the course of this fun and unique tour, you will have the opportunity to look at and explore four different buildings in Edmonton: Neil Crawford Centre, Alberta Legislature, Hotel MacDonald and the Art Gallery of Alberta. These buildings represent a cross section of the history of Edmonton and how architecture played a part in our city’s history.You will be given a private tour of each building and debrief the design and history between stops. It is recommended that you have taken the course Architectural History, but not a requirement.

Please read:  The tour will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Neil Crawford Centre (7000 113 Street NW). LRT will be used to travel from location to location and you will be responsible for purchasing your own pass. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring water, a bag lunch and/or snacks. The tour will conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. in downtown Edmonton.
