Introductory Cosmetology is a 5 credit program designed to introduce students to the art of hair styling and introductory haircutting. Students will learn theory and practical skills through in-class exercises and hands on training. During the course of this program, students will develop an increased awareness and knowledge of personal and professional practices. They will also have the opportunity to develop their creative skills and confidence in the areas of long hair design, hair and scalp care, hair styling and hair cutting.
Students under 20 on Sep 1 - $250 class price that includes a $40 non-refundable program fee and $210 for the required Cosmetology Kit A.
Students over 20 years on Sep 1 - $739 which includes $489 tuition, a $40 non-refundable program fee and $210 for the required Cosmetology Kit A.
The Cosmetology Kit A contains:
6 jaw clips, 2 all-purpose wave combs, 1 apron, duck bill clips, 1 Denman blow dry brush, 1 wide tooth/rake comb, 1 cutting cape, 1 Isinis scalp brush, 1 pair of cutting shears, 1 mannequin.
