A springboard writing exercise will launch course participants into exploring and identifying key elements of a short story. With examples, tips, strategies and in-class writing time, you will explore how to establish a tight theme, write compelling openings/leads, develop characters and choose a point of view. Learn how to write dialogue, develop plot and incorporate conflict, climax and resolution into a compelling short story that you are proud of.
