With summer fast approaching, learn how to whip up a tasty gourmet-style salad without breaking a sweat! Discuss different types of ingredients that you can use to take your salads beyond just lettuce, and discover how easy it is to make your own delicious dressings. Recipes will include shrimp mandarin spinach salad; arugula salad with steak, shallots and blue cheese; beet and kale salad with pomegranate dressing; Moroccan wheat berry and chickpea salad; and crunchy apple, walnut and endive salad. Hands-on course. Materials: $20
