Bookkeeping Principles & Applications Practicum

Combined with our bookkeeping and accounting courses, this flexible practicum is designed to help you put theory into practice, both in manual and computer program formats. You may register for and begin working on the practicum assignments at any time but must have finished at least Bookkeeping Level 1: Basics. You will work from home on your own time. The estimated time to complete the practicum is 15 - 35 hours. You are not required to attend the classroom portion of the practicum unless you feel you need assistance to complete the assignments. You must achieve 100% on the practicum assignments (one done manually and the other done in QuickBooks) to qualify for a Certificate of Recognition. Prerequisite(s): Bookkeeping Level 1: Basics

Please read: Estimated time to complete both the manual and computerized practicum is approximately 35 to 70 hours which you will work on at your own pace and on your own time.

All courses and the practicum must be completed within one (1) year of initial registration. Extensions will be considered but must be submitted as a written request to the Program Advisor.
